One of the classic RORC races, the Caribbean 600 has got to be one of the highlights of the offshore calendar.
Starting from English Harbour in Antigua, the fleet leaves on a 600 mile race around the Caribbean past Nevis, St Kitts, Angiulla and St Barth’s before heading back around St Maarten then south around Guadeloupe. Sunshine, warm seas and racing in shorts – offshore yacht racing surely doesn’t get much better…
Wind shadows, wind shifts and some of the finest sailors in the World all contribute to make this a challenging technical race, and what a great way to get out on the water in the sun next winter!

Why sail with First Offshore Racing?
We exist to enable keen weekend sailors to get offshore by running training weekends and competing in RORC Offshore Races.
You will be completely involved in the running of the boat – if nav and tactics are your thing, we will work together – if it’s sail trim or helming, we will show you have to get the best out of our fully optimised race boat. We build a tightly knit team through the event.
Our aim? To sail really well, and to have massive fun whilst we do.
All we ask is decent fitness some offshore experience – we will guide you all the way. For the more experienced, we focus on race strategy, weather routing and fine tuning our boat trim.
