Why First Offshore racing?

First Offshore exists to bridge the gap between RYA school boats and the hot shot race boats in the RORC fleet.  Our crew is mainly made up of enthusiastic weekend sailors looking to race on a competitive boat whilst recognising that they don’t yet have the experience or offshore knowledge of a seasoned offshore racer.

Everyone gets involved, everyone is aware of our race strategy and everyone gets experience of all the crew positions and we partner experienced with less experienced racers to learn on the racecourse and training sessions.
