RORC Cherbourg Race | Cowes 2nd September 2022

£350.00

The last race of the domestic season takes competitors on a dash across the Channel to Cherbourg. The race is usually won and lost in the escape from the Solent, in the strong tides on the approach to Cherbourg, or even the last mile along the inside of the breakwater of the Grande Rade. The race is never over until you are motoring in, ready for the lively welcome that awaits all competitors at the Yacht Club de Cherbourg.

The Yacht
An offshore race prepared Beneteau First 40.7, the most successful cruiser racer ever built. Complete with race and delivery sails and several spinnakers, the boat is fast, safe and easily sailed. Down below, we have all (most) mod cons and is very comfortable. We sail with two watches, so there is always an opportunity to get involved and when you are off watch – soak in the experience, sit back and enjoy the ride!
