Six day sailing trip: Sail Scotland from the amazing port of Oban on the West Coast of Scotland, a wonderful train journey from Glasgow on the West Highland railway line – one of the World’s most scenic railways.
After our full safety briefing and introduction to the boat, we will set off from our base in Oban to head North through Sound of Mull and head for the dramatic island of Skye giving you the chance to experience sailing in one of the UK’s best sailing grounds. After a fast and full days sail, each night we will arrive in a different port and have time to explore all these beautiful Scottish sailing ports. Stunning scenery, excellent seafood and some pretty decent whisky are only some of the attractions awaiting you!
Further days will see us exploring Plockton and the famous Plockton Inn, sailing up the West Coast and Applecross, to Torridon and Sheldaig and and round the point and into the Gairloch later in the week. Plenty sailing, and plenty time to explore both islands and mainland ashore.
